These General Terms and Conditions govern access to, use of, and the accommodation booking process at Sereia da Gelfa Empreendimentos Turísticos S.A.
By confirming a booking, the user declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms.
3. User Registration
The website allows users to create an account. The user agrees to:
- Provide truthful and up-to-date information
- Keep their login credentials confidential
- Not use the account for unlawful purposes
The managing entity shall not be held responsible for any misuse of the account.
4. Booking Process
Bookings made through the website are confirmed immediately upon payment.
Online bookings are available for:
- Bungalows
- Modules
- Rooms
Camping pitches (tents and caravans) are not available for online booking.
After completing the booking, the customer will receive a confirmation email with the details of their stay..
5. Prices and Payment
All prices shown include VAT at the legally applicable rate.
Payments must be made at the time of booking using one of the following methods:
- MB Way
- Multibanco
- Bank transfer
Full payment in advance is required to confirm the reservation.
A booking will only be considered valid after payment has been confirmed.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Sereia da Gelfa Empreendimentos Turísticos S.A. applies a strict cancellation policy to ensure efficient management of its accommodation units:
- Up to 30 days before check-in: Full refund of the amount paid.
- Less than 30 days before check-in: No refund will be granted, regardless of the reason given.
- No-show: In the event of a no-show, no additional charges will apply, and the amount paid will be considered non-refundable.
7. Check-in and Check-out
Schedule
Check-in: From 4:00 p.m.
Check-out: Until 11:00 a.m.
Note: Staying in the accommodation after check-out time may result in an additional charge equivalent to one extra night and may affect the availability of the accommodation.
8. Rules of Use
During their stay, guests agree to:
- Responsible use: Use all spaces, equipment, and furniture carefully and responsibly.
- Coexistence and quiet hours: Respect the rest of other guests and the surrounding environment, ensuring complete silence between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Pets: For hygiene and health reasons (including allergies), pets are not allowed inside the accommodation units (Bungalows, Modules, and Rooms).
- Damage and negligence: The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation unit or furniture through improper use. The cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the customer.
- Internal rules: Comply with all operating rules of the resort displayed on the premises.
The management reserves the right to terminate the stay, without refund, in the event of serious breach of these rules or behaviour that disrupts the normal operation of the park.
9. Invoicing
In accordance with Portuguese tax law, the issuance of an invoice is mandatory.
- The invoice will be issued using the information provided in the booking form.
- Important: If the customer wishes to include a tax number (NIF) on the invoice, it must be entered in the designated field during the booking process. Changes after the invoice has been issued may not be legally possible.
10. Liability and Security
- Personal belongings: Sereia da Gelfa shall not be held responsible for theft, robbery, or damage to personal belongings, vehicles, or property left in the accommodation units or common areas.
- Force majeure: We shall not be liable for interruptions to external services (water, electricity, internet) or adverse weather conditions that prevent full use of the facilities.
11. Privacy and Personal Data
Your personal data is collected securely and used solely for the purpose of the booking and associated tax obligations.
Sereia da Gelfa Empreendimentos Turísticos S.A. undertakes to protect your privacy in accordance with the applicable European legislation (GDPR).
